    Its surprising not to find mention of R.V. COLLEGE ,BANGALORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY and M.S. RAMAIAH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, all very reputed colleges of Engineering in this list. This list seems to be biased.

    This is 2007 ranking and Manipal Institute of Technology is most certainly lower than VIT.

    What is the source of the list ? Jadavpur University is not an Engineering College only. It has faculty of engineering, science, arts etc. .
    Universities and ‘only’ engineering institutions are ranked by different bodies namely UGC NAAC and some committee of AICTE . It would be nice to have first 50 from those two lists here separately.

    Manipal is a better institute than SRM and VIT. There is no management quota in manipal!Besides Infrastructure, facilities are much better than these colleges.
